About the Artist
Terry Downs, is a Construction Manager in the Washington, DC market and draws his inspiration from the construction materials used on any given project. He often jokes with Architects and Owners saying, "It is a creative injustice to cover over materials and craftsmanship found behind finished walls and ceilings." All materials used by the artist are collected from construction trash piles and dumpsters. Everything is re-purposed and saved from going into the landfill. Terry's vision and desire is to transform discarded construction materials into striking wall art.
